This lovely group of women performs an engaging set of songs, from celtic to gypsy, waltzes and originals that express beauty and whimsy. Each seasoned musician adds a unique touch to the varied selections, whether it’s a small original riff or a beautiful blend of harmonies. Abigail’s Garden includes cello, ukulele, fiddle, guitar, keys and vocals. Lively songs like “Tell Me Ma” and “Whisky in the Jar” contrast with beautiful harmonies and lilting voices in songs like “Danny Boy”, “The Parting Glass” and “Caledonia”. These contrast well with lively instrumentals like the Irish tunes “John Murphy and Dennis Ryan Polkas” and the Swedish tune “Boda Waltz”.
